I paid good money to get some new shaping bricks off of pab. I’m really happy lego sells the harry potter troll arms individually instead of forcing you to buy a very expensive set or paying a reseller $70+ to get the troll. Always support lego directly when they do pro consumer stuff like this.

Picked up the remaining two albums by The Crane Wives at their performance the other night, now Im just missing the other one that never came out on disc (digital only), and their mountain of singles (which is arguably some of their best work)
Just wish some of their other songs, and even covers, got proper releases, theyve got a really good band going

I traded in the yellow lego case to bricks and minifigs and they gave me ten dollars credit (basically got the spacemen for free). Used the credit on this bulk lot. Paid $40 for $208.74 worth of parts based on used bl averages. The coolest part I found was that skinny yellow train window from the 70s. That one part goes for about four dollars. The chill speeder bracket from alpha team is another valuable part, goes for about a dollar, as does the little tan curved slope from dino attack.
Oh yeah and I also got liberty’s kids the complete series at goodwill for three dollars.

That white windscreen is from a mars mission ship, the MX-41 switch fighter, but it looks like it came from a bullet train.

I finally got a Radiohead album on vinyl and I picked Kid A…not because it’s the best RH album or anything (although I enjoy it very much), but because I adore the album artwork and album cover and few songs on it.

I got a bunch of ignikas from ziontyro’s custom wares. Perfect quality replicas of tapered shapes. The gunmetal ignikas are some of the only tapered shell pieces in this color (aside from takanuva '08’s thigh armor and fangz’s head, every gunmetal piece is either a flat blade or rounded blob) so these will come in very handy for armoring limbs. But yeah, check out ziontyro’s stuff.

I got the ogel snow crawler at bricks and minifigs for fifteen dollars. You couldn’t design a more stereotypically mid 2000s set if you tried. This beast would never get made today. Studs up build, specialized bionicle parts, printed parts, curved slopes, a new shade of red. These things were responsible for nearly bankrupting lego with their sheer budgets alone.
