The Bionicle G1/G2 Connection Theory Topic

This is very irrelevant to the topic, and belongs on the 2016 thread.

Um… who are you replying to?

It appears to have been deleted, however there was a post about a theory involving Umarak in a video, however had nothing to do with any G1-G2 theories, at all.

Perhaps Okoto has been hit by a natural catastophy resulting in the island ‘splitting’ apart and reshaping to something that closely resembles Mata nui? It sounds a little bit far fetched and there are much more interesting theories out there, but who knows? I definitely don’t think it’s a placeholder, but we’ll see once the finalized, official pictures, are released.

What if the Toa have to travel back and forth through time between Okoto and Mata-nui, but to do so they must unite with the creatures to be powerful enough for the trip? It does seem like ‘time’ is a big deal this generation.

What if Okoto is really Daxia, with the City of the Mask Maker being the Order’s base, but abandoned so it could be used in the training. Perhaps the Toa’s quest is really just training. The Skull Spiders and LOSS are beings created by the Order to serve as enemies for the Toa to train against, and so are the Skull enemies. Throughout the many Bionicle Shorts taking place on Okoto, there has been a kanohi Vahi hidden through out. If I am correct, it was never truly said HOW long ago the Toa Mata were trained and how long they were in the canisters before being called upon. For all we know, Okoto is what Daxia looked like, perhaps chunks of it fell into the ocean later on throughout time. Ekimu might actually be Hydraxon, the Toa’s trainer, in disguise, and the Protectors might be other members of the Order. Sure, that could be disproven as there are also non-Protector villagers on Okto, and Order wasn’t so big so they surely couldn’t be diguised. But, if you’ve noticed, the Toa don’t really run into any villagers. The only time we see them is when the Toa hadn’t landed on Okoto. They don’t know that they are merely being trained.

So, what do you think of my theory?

Honestly, I would absolutely hate it if they made the ENTIRE G2 story just a “test” for the Toa. If we learn that there was no real danger and everything was essentially a simulation, it would ruin the entire story for me. They might as well make it all just a nightmare that Tahu had one night. :stuck_out_tongue:

According to the book, Onua spoke to an elder.

And Tahu ran into a ton of villagers when he first arrived. (including that kid)

And Pohatu met Bingzak

In G1, do we know what happened to the Kanohi Kraahkan (Mask of Shadows)?

Yes, it was reduced to atoms when Icarax was killed mid-teleport by Gorast and Vamprah.

Where was Icarax trying to teleport to? Maybe the Mask of Shadows survived!

The Cordak

Nope.

From Biosector1:
“As he slowly began to crush the structure, Icarax was attacked by Gorast and Vamprah. Icarax easily defeated the two Makuta, until Mutran arrived at the scene. Gorast, noting Mutran’s arrival, ordered Mutran to send a babble of thoughts into Icarax’s head, effectively distracting the Makuta. Gorast then taunted the Makuta by saying that the Toa were close to succeeding in their destiny. Taken by surprise, Icarax decided that he had to confront the Toa and stop them before they could carry out their mission. As he began to teleport away from the scene, however, Gorast grabbed the Makuta and used her Kanohi Felnas to make Icarax’s Teleportation power go out of control. Vamprah then hit him with a blast of energy, scattering Icarax’s atoms in all directions and killing him.”

Are these from destruction, or teleportation?

Out of control as in he can’t teleport? Or out of control as in 'he can’t control where he’s teleporting?

The Codrex, you mean? :stuck_out_tongue:

As of control like he literally can’t control how his powers work, probably splitting all the atoms in his body to different places in the space-time continuum because of his teleportation of them.

@BBC1Wholock1 basicly something like this

To wit, “oh, he’ll finish his teleport. Part of him will finish on Daxia, and part of him on Destral, and part of him on Metru Nui…” -Gorast

In other words, he was scattered into pieces, and the Kraahkan with him.

And he was teleporting to the Codrex.

Mmm. That makes sense.

I said “don’t really” as in, not as many as there would have to be for it to be considered that VAST amounts of villagers living in these villages. IIRC, they have met a total of about 7 villagers, not including the Protectors.

Edited for Double Post - Slime
Heyo dude, please give this topic a read

Hmm, good point. The Order is implied to have few members.

I have one small bit of evidence to further suggest that the island on the Mask of Control on the 2016 poster isn’t a placeholder. There was a video found on the LEGO website on United States Thanksgiving Day, 2014, entitled "Masks of Power Trailer. This video started with a picture of Okoto, but it had been hidden on the website since January 31st, 2014. So, they’ve had the island design for Okoto for at least a year and a half. I doubt that the poster is two years old.
