More factual than good pirates not taking others’ property. The essentials of a dinosaur are “often reptilian creatures found in the Jurassic, Triassic, and cretaceous periods,” not necessarily speaking or not. The essentials of a pirate are “takes stuff from others.” The train part is debatable, but so are skateboards, basketballs, sentient ships and Trojan-horse style elephants in the 19th century (yeah, I remember those episodes from the show).
