To be honest, I just built this guy to use those blade pieces from the Ninjago Prime Empire sets. Because of this, I haven’t really decided on a backstory, or even a name, for him.
For his mask, the Great Ruru wasn’t my first choice, but I didn’t have anything else that would work with his design. Also, I would’ve like to add more transparent bright green to his torso, but I couldn’t find a way to do that.
Here’s the design I used for his swords. The little hook on the tips of his swords was a late addition, but I like how it turned out.
Finally, here’s the Ebon Swordsman alongside a couple of my more recent MOCs (as you can see, I’ve updated Haraka’s legs. However, I’m still not fond of how they turned out…).
