Its the same way im sure theres plenty of fans of Mtn Dew, Taylor Swift and boat enthusiasts on 4chan. And those contest polls were obviously memed back in the day from there. Yes it was funny then because it was to faceless corporations and out of touch celebrities. But this is a tight nit community that deserves better.

This all ties into the TTV Civil War!
After Eljay’s timely death at the hands of Slime, the TTV Cast realized there was a problem on their hands: Eljay was raking in the ratings, and they killed him (with real bullets). So they needed a replacement Eljay.
As such, the TTV cast hired another guy who sounded like Eljay, one man from Idaho (not “The Void” as the real Eljay had previously said) and had him wear a polished new mask for a while. However, the fans eventually started to suspect. So the TTV rounded up the BIONICLE Great Beings, this so called council between BS01 and TTV, to figure out what to do.
It was situated that Eljay would have his face revealed, the new guy, so they could keep up the scheme in time for brickfair. Then, “Eljay” revealed himself.
However, the real Eljay remained dead, his old Discord account locked. However, we have witnessed proof of the “Two Eljays”, which actually coorelates with there being “Three ELjays” (remember that April Fools “Prank?” It was not a prank.)
In reality, the remaining Eljay has now influenced the vote and is plotting to take over the Mata Nui Robot.
