Yeah he does. And Batman got all sorts of Kryptonian science stuff from Superman. Anyway, I used New 52 Superman for my arguments,
An argument I’ve seen recently was that, while Superman does have almost limitless potential, it takes him time to reach it.
According to the current comic books, he starts at a similar level to base Goku, and then slowly increases his power through the course of a battle to the point where he overcomes his enemy.
The argument, following this line of reasoning, is that Goku could possibly beat him at even kaio-ken times ten, as his power increase (multiplied by ten instantly) is just so quick as to overpower Superman before he has a chance to strike (keeping in mind Goku’s speed advantage).
OTOH, if superman were to match this, and just endure his speed, Goku would theoretically run out of beans at some point.
That’s more Hulk than Superman.

Can we please not do this. The debate will never be over no matter how many new variants of the characters there are. Topics like this and videos like Deathbattle (which tend to be highly suspect in almost every video) can’t solve the debate.
There are a myriad of problems with this debate, every Superman incarnation is different and people have a problem with separating feats. We never have gotten a sound idea of just how strong Goku is do to inconsistent feats and the nature of the battles he is in can't help with this because except for the Saiyan and Namekian and Frieza saga powers are never solidly compared beyond vague statements. It is also hard to get a good idea of Superman's strength because while we know he has limits we have only gotten stats for him that are in the ballpark and not exact. Another difficulty is we know channeling ki into physical abilities drastically increases Goku's power but we don't know by how much. Also the true power of ki blasts is hard to get because the real power is never shown, all we know is that from Frieza saga on basically anything not condensed into a small area would destroy the planet. Speed is also tricky because it is always compared to others, Goku could be able to travel millions of time faster than light in base or maybe only slightly faster.
The truth is we can never really know, both characters have inconsistent hard to measure stats. Most people's point of view comes from bias or very sketchy "research" for both characters. We do have better information on Superman but the multiple versions make it hard to get a fix on him. Silver age Superman could do basically anything by the end of his run. Golden age Superman could only lift up a sky scraper. Modern day superman is definitively a planet buster, but by how much is difficult to say. I am sorry for this rant and if it seems repetitive I apologize for that to but I am just fed up with this debate, they are both awesome characters who define their respective industries and either one of them could potentially crush the other in battle. So please just close this topic for the sake of sanity.

He benched the weight of the Earth for 5 days, and dropped one bead of sweat.
I was kinda disappointed by the second death battle. Not because Superman won no I’m fine with that. It is just he did not use the Super Flare. They establish it so why didn’t superman use it. That would have been an awesome way for Goku to go down just saying.

Also I should mention that the universe would have crumbled if Beerus did not stop it using all of his power. The series has progressed farther and now Goku’s base form is more powerful than it was during universe crumbles. He also has Super Saiyan Blue which is a huge power up from base form.

I mean, as much as I dislike superman I’d say he’d win. No question. He’s practically invincible. If this was a knock out of the ring fight, probably Goku.
