Here’s the thing about Minions. They are basically just pieces of comic relief in a rather mediocre movie,that being “Despicable Me”. They are not good comic relief, they are not bad comic relief, but I just can’t stand their overrated love. I kind of feel that the Minions follow a certain trend where your character is counted as “Funny” and “Loveable” if:
- They are a color that is seen as nice and lively
- Talk with some sort of language or dialect different from your own
- Have at least three unnecessary scenes to make them out to be funny.
Characters like The Aliens from Toy Story and Olaf from Frozen, and(of Course) The Minions usually come to mind when it comes to this sort of trend. I don’t hate the Minions, but having them pop up everywhere is kind of annoying.

I don’t hate the Minions. I do hate how they’re stupidly overrated and continue popping up everywhere, but I don’t hate them.
They’re not bad comic relief, but I’ve seen better
