The Movie Trailers discussion

Let’s talk about Movie Trailers people. While it may not seem like a topic that warrants an entire discussion… Technically it does. Think about it, what is one the most important aspects of a new movie? Making a good first impression with the trailers.

So what do you think about movie trailers? What Cliches do you like or dislike? Do you have a favorite trailer?

I’ll start this off: I think trailers are 50/50 in terms of quality. You have amazing trailers that get you hyped and then you get trailers that spoil the ENTIRE movie and do other stuff you shouldn’t do when making a trailer.

The cliche I dislike the most is the jump scare at the end of most horror trailers. Good lord, STOP IT HOLLYWOOD! IT’S GETTING OLD!

And I don’t have a favorite trailer, but Disney’s The Black Hole came so freaking close. The trailer was ruined by having an ENTIRE SCENE IN THE TRAILER!!! Mind you it was short, BUT STILL!

And now I am going to share with you to a pretty cool video on Movie Trailers. You should probably post a reply before you watch the video by the way.

And no, I am not advertising or promoting this channel in any way. I am getting tired of having to specify that…

I hate the first trailers to come out for movies, they never show what a movie is about and usually just show the main character dough something with no relevance to the actual movie! Okay now that all that #RedRage is gone I have to say I enjoy watching trailers! They get the hype and unlike some movies cough Star Wars the Force Awakens cough usually come out close enough to the release of the movie so he hype doesn’t dwindle or become unbearable! So yah Red has a point :yum:

Yup, it was so bad, I knew the entire plot except that one part that, ahem, should have never happened in that movie. Really, Hollywood? You literally just threw the main franchise character (besides our big muscle man) into the trash. The only thing good that came out of it is Jai Courtney, so we can finally see what happened to Kyle Reese. I’m still mad about that.
