When Makuta absorbed Krekka, Nidiki, and Nivawk, part of their conscience remained intact despite him thinking he absorbed them fully. This means that every blunder Makuta made afterwards was the three’s combined efforts to subliminally undermine him.
It would explain Terry challenging Takanuva to Kohli. Blame Krekka.
