The Sundering of the Witching Hill

Can anyone guess what this is meant to be from?

It’s Galadriel breaking Dol Guldur during the War of the Ring! Awesome!

Her armor looks somewhat like her armor from The Rings of Power, which, despite my general dislike of the show, causes me no consternation. Good armor is good armor. =P

You nailed it! Yeah, as much as I think most characters in lord of the rings should probably have mail armor, Galadriel in plate is just too awesome for me to resist. Thanks!

Having no context for the original source material, I gotta say that looks striking. Having the flat castle with the background leaking through the cracks is a really sharp image, and very well executed at that.

My only complaint is that the foremost bird is a bit odd…

Thanks! Eh… the bird’s moving fast and it looks janky as a result :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

The crumbling castle in monochrome is visually striking and bedazzling.

Is this based on Lord of the Rings? Also this is a beautiful artwork you have right there.

Say @Sabretooth you planning to post this on vgen or twitter? I ask because this is a really phenomenal artwork.

I’m not familiar with vgen, and I deleted twitter, but I’ve put it in a lot of my other usual internet haunts. Thanks!
