Titan Takanuva toa of Twilight, newest upgrade.

Note: This is a heavily modified version of someone else’s build that I recreated into a completely different build course their version was a golden Takanuva. I’ve always liked this version growing up mainly because of the idea of a Titan toa. Takanuva was My favorite growing up as a kid and was thinking of upgrading it for a while now and these pictures are to show what I’ve done to improve on the model. It has full poseability newer upgraded hand designs with articulated fingers and the last picture is a side by side of shatore the Toa of shadows/Red Star zombie hunter.

Which I’ll be posting update pictures of it tomorrow.

I’d like to see it without a filter, it obscures some of the details

Trust me it’s better with filter you won’t be able to see the details without it. My phone is a piece of junk.

The lance looks really nice, the “claw” feature is neat.

Sorry for the long wait. I’ve been working a lot, and now have some free time to upgrade some of my older moc’s, and I wanted takanuva to look more biomechanical and have a fluid design.

I tried to keep it close to the original, and the chest is something I tried to recreate and think I got pretty close too. I also finally got Makuta teridax, from a great friend from work.

I also used quite a bit of custom parts from ziontyro’s custom wears, which allowed me to attach these armor parts onto the takadox’s heads that are used for the shoulder cauldrons.

I also wanted to give him a articulated torso like my newest Bionicles, and so I took some inspiration and techniques that I used in two of my other Bionicle moc’s, specifically Rapax’s arm design, and for the body I used a toa metru torso for the main frame of the body like I did with my GSB. Takanuva is also the same height as the GSB

Rapax is still taller due to her neck, but takanuvas shoulders are pretty close to the same height as Rapax. I also upgraded the weapons as well.

I also wanted to make the power Lance look more spiky and menacing.

I also keep his flying bits from the original set, while making them look more fluid. I made it look like he’s about to take off into the air.

I will be posting some new pictures on some others moc’s of mine that I’ve upgraded, but until then, I hope you all enjoy :+1:

Maybe In the future. Both of them are very intricate and quite complex.
