this is the new one, after this sentence what comes next is old.

the two handed hammer is inspiration from some peoples interpretations of my self moc

so, what I did here was made few changes to my self moc, added lateral bicept movement and the mask of creation (finally). He isn’t supposed to be uber complex and have a custom torso or custom everything, he’s just supposed to have a consistent color scheme and be a simple little self moc.

Ekimu doesn’t seem all too happy about Karu wearing the Mask of Creation

It’s simple and decent. Nothing much to complain about or to praise (the weapons are great though).

But if I had to nitpick…

The amount of exposed black CCBS joints are kinda eh ; some minor add ons or different armor shapes could fix that.

His shoulders are very flat… again, nothing that small add-ons cannot fix…perhaps some small spikes to mimic the “crown” on the MoC?

Also, why doesn’t he have hands?

I know that you said that he’s not supposed to be complex, but I will still have to say that I don’t like the fact that he is a very basic CCBS build, or in other words, he’s only what Lego has already made with some new armor clipped on in a simple way. It’s not very original. On the bright side it’s got some great weapons.

that’s fine, but I don’t agree so he will stay how he is, and I’d say he is fairly original, as no one has a gold and red color scheme with a mask of creation, and you even said the weapons were great

I don’t think anyone has those.

He’s decent. The proportions on his chest seem a little odd with more armor on the lower part, but it’s nothing I can’t overlook. Aside from that, he looks pretty neat. I like how consistent you are about putting armor addons on the red.

yeah this I agree with, just has a big piece of armor in the middle of his chest

but you’re using black sockets anyway, just use black hands.

eh, not really a fan of how the torso is built, I’d add a gearbox and change around the armor.
flip(that is, rotate 180’) the shells on the lower arms and legs, trust me.
also, if you don’t mind scavenging a bit from ekimu, give him the chima shoulders in place of the piston addons, and move those to the lower legs.
and yeah, add some gold spikes to the shoulders, red spikes would look odd attached to gold shells.

Is he simple? yes. Does that make me dislike him? HEEEL no. He definetly looks more like you now that he has the MoC. I like him! However:

I like it better than the previous version, which has it’s merits, but this one is much cooler. The mask of creation looks good on him, IMO.

Although the body looks a little awkward, (perhaps it’s the broad shoulders) I like the design of the MOC. I personally prefer the hammer over the blade, but that’s just my opinion. The color scheme works pretty well, I don’t see much of a problem in it. The necklace is also a nice touch.
Also glad to see you finally got the Mask of Creation for it.

Overall, this is a pretty nice MOC considering you are going for a simplistic look. Keep up the great work!

Is it just me or does this moc look kinda fat

Getting that out of the way i think this looks to much like a hero factory with a bionicle 2015 head and its kinda weird to me. I feel like hes kinda lacking in complexity and in size proportions. I like the color scheme though

Yea, but if you swapped out Tahu’s chest and head with Furno’s, would you think of it as a Bionicle? they are alike, yet not too different.
