Toa Mata Onua revamp

I’m surprised a simple April fools joke is still getting so much attention a week later lol

I believe it’s tuma who’s the culprit.

Nope, those are Fero’s feet!

The real April fools joke is that none of these Toa Mata are put together right :triumph:.

I CANNOT UNSEE IT!

I can’t unsee it!

Tahu, Toa of missing VooDoo ball and maybe something else

Lewa, 2nd Toa of missing VooDoo ball and maybe something else

Gali, Toa of upside-down socket; possibly something else, too

ONUA-- Toa of sheer height alone

So what? I prefer them like this, instructions are merely a suggestion.

That’s actually part of the original design lol

I’m going to spend another 5 minutes trying to find what had changed on Gali. But the other three Toa Mata in the picture are pretty clever…

Yet Onua decided to take a vacation to the Swamps of Karda Nui before this picture was taken!

Well, her legs are upside down and she doesn’t have any pins on her hips. Lewa also has his shoulders attached differently. Tahu’s arms are the wrong way around.

Spot on. As for the other two:

  • Tahu is left handed and has no weird ball on his chest
  • Lewa has wider shoulders, a proper left arm, and normal 3L axles for fingers as opposed to the axle connectors. Also no ball on the chest and his non-action arm is fixed in place like Tahu’s.

I’ve also rebuilt normal Onua, he just follows the original design if I’m not mistaken. (Nevermind, the instructions say his legs should be upside down)

You like your Toa with bell-bottoms.

Were the ball joint pieces removed cause you didn’t like them or because you needed them for tall Onua’s feet.

I just don’t like them, they look weird.
