Thanks! That’s actually pretty encouraging. I recognize that world building is definitely one of my stronger areas in writing. So I’m really glad to hear all that work I’ve built up has such a positive effect.

One thing I’ve tried to do when running games, both online and in tabletop RPGs, is to make my worldbuilding interactive. Instead of just dumping paragraphs of lore on them (much as I may be tempted to do so), I try to give that kind of exposition through museums or terminals- like what you’ve been doing. It saves me the trouble of having to go on at length about things, and the players are engaging with the world instead of just reading/hearing about it.

Not yet. Like I said it would likely take some time. But I’d say we’re definitely closer to leaving than we are from when we started.
Are you sure there’s no way to get his character in sooner? I understand wanting to set up a good introduction, but does that have to wait until we’re out of the city?
