Transformer New Horizons: Rebirth of The Tyrant. RP

“Huh?” Juliana said, Looking at him in surprise. “Oh yes, everyone’s been… quite nice…” she trailed off. She was silent a moment, before speaking up. She subtly moved her hand to cover her faction emblem. “I’m wondering, is there a demand for older bots? You know, minicons, autobots, those sort of things?”

“Come on Tripwire, let’s get this thing off him.” Darksting said, grabbing the corpse.

Tripwire grabs the Tyrant’s body by one of its arms and heaves. Outside, Hemorrhage hears Arachnix’s cries for a medic and comes sprinting into the tent.

“Demand? What do you mean by demand?”
Quickslash replied, a little confused.
“I’d say there’s more than enough old timers running around as is, what with the decepticons running the show everywhere but 'ere.”

With their combined effort, the two would manage to drag the body off of the predacon beneath.

Arachnix was more or less crushed from the biceps down. His body resembling that of a tin can crumpled under foot. He wasn’t beyond repair, but by no means looked good.

The dragonfly medic Juliana had been speaking too followed Hemorage with an equally quick pace, looking very concerned.

Hemorrhage steels himself and immediately takes to Arachnix’s side, not needing his scanner to tell him that the situation was grave.

“Get back!” he says to the others in the tent, and he extends his repair beam from his left hand. He already knew it could only do so much- situations like this were best handled within a proper operating theater alongside a team of surgeons, but he had neither of those here. He starts to beam energon into Arachnix’s body while he identifies any sites of major energon leakage- he would attempt to seal these breaches with an arc welder he deploys from his right index finger- a temporary fix, perhaps, but he needed to act fast.

There was little to no leakage at any points on his body. As the energon beam accelerated his own natural repair systems, his body began to quickly mend itself. Twisted limbs rearranged themselves into place, bent metal forced itself back. The damage was still noticeable, and would likely cause some difficulties moving forward. But he would be otherwise alright.

“No, I mean… as in… parts, slaves, that sort of thing?”

“Thanks, Hemorrhage,” Darksting said to him, “really averted a crisis there.”

Angel watched as the camp’s inhabitants went about their business while keeping close to Axis and Maximus.

With that, they give a better look at the tents themselves. Mostly looking to see if they could hold under their weight if they were to climb on top. Especially without significant sagging.

Timberjack blinks, but suppresses the chirping this time.

Does she…think they’re harvesting bots? That’s…

“Actually, are there other camps or groups like yours out here? Or is trading something rare?” Timberjack asks.

Hemorrhage is pleasantly surprised- it seems he’d greatly overestimated the severity of Arachnix’s condition. Was he getting rusty? Still, though the predacon’s life would no longer be imperiled, he would need further treatment to fully mend his wounds.

“It’s what I’m here for,” the doctor says humbly. “Though this predacon will need further repairs.”

“Oh for the love of-”
Quickslash grumbled. He knew what was going on.
“Bit! Byte! Get your afts over 'ere!”

The two ant predacons scurry over to the camp’s leader. Quickslash transformed into his robot mode. While a little lanky, he was still just as imposing as he was in his mantis form. He looked down at the two smaller predacons.

“You insufferable little scraplets. Its always something with you! I swear I don’t know why I don’t just throw you out into the wastes! These are guests for scrap sake. We don’t salvage guests. We don’t even think about salvaging guests! Got it?”

“Right boss!”
“Sorry boss.”
“Won’t happen again boss.”

“It better not.”
Quickslash said sternly.

Quickslash sighed after having berated the other two.
“As far as I’m aware, we’re the only ones out here. But who know? The sea of rust is a big place. Could be plenty of camps dotted around, just too far away to safely get to.”

The tents were poorly constructed, but at least somewhat sturdy. They’d be able to hold the weight of a minicon or two. Three would be pushing it.

Once the energon beam did all it could, Arachnix struggled to his feet. Grunting and groaning as he did so.
“Thanks doc. I really owe you one.”

“Yeah, thanks.”
The dragonfly medic said. Not sure whether to be angry that she was upstaged, or thankful that she was just saved months of work.

Juliana looked terrified at the trouble she had caused. “i-im sorry! I didn’t meant to-”

With the tools in his hands, Hemorrhage tries to see if there is anything else he can do to patch Arachnix up.

“I’d suggest taking it easy for a while,” he advises. “The rest of your wounds may heal in time, if you don’t exert yourself.”

“You didn’t do anything wrong miss.”
Quickslash reassured.
“These two are big trouble makers. And I apologize that they frightened you like that.”

“Exerting myself is my whole job. I… I need to provide for the camp.”
He said worriedly, sounding both exhausted from the repair and stressed by the trouble it’ll lead to.

“If you ask me, I think we’ll be fine for however long it takes you to get back to 100%.”
The medic said, gesturing to the headless rust tyrant carcass.

“Quite right,” Hemorrhage agrees. “In fact, I think I can take care of that for you, if you’d like.”

“What do you mean?”
Arachnix asked.

“The device I used to repair you can extract energon as well as inject it into a patient,” Hemorrhage explains. “Judging from the paraphernalia in this tent, you get your energon from the local wildlife; I could extract the Tyrant’s supply and perhaps complete today’s work for you while you recover.”

“That would be really something.”
The medic said, sounding quite surprised.
“It’d take us at least a week or two to break this thing down as is. But if you could siphon it all out right now, well that’d be incredible.”

“You should take it easy for a little while, Arachnix.” Darksting said to the spider.
