“Must be frustrating, not having anyone who can understand you.”
Axis said.

"Is there no one else around here who can speak minicon?,
Maximus asked.

Vip!” Oddball calls back from over his shoulder.

“No, there are,” Backbreaker says. “But most of us can’t tell what they’re saying, either.”

“What if we got him something to write on? That would probably help.”
Maximus suggested.

Backbreaker shrugs.

“If we can find something like that, maybe.”

Woop-woop!” Oddball weighs in, his optic lights brightening.

“I think he agrees.”
Axis commented with a smile.

“Hold on a minute. I’ll be right back.”
Maximus said. He walked off, and a few minutes later returned. Holding a decently sized sheet of scrap metal, as well as a welding tool he borrowed from Railfire, which could be used to mark on the metal. He handed them both to Oddball.

“There we go. That should help.”

Oddball takes the sheet of scrap metal and the welding torch, casting his eyes over his new gifts and peering at them carefully.

Trill-bweep!” he says, igniting the blowtorch and waving it around.

Wooooop-wooooooop!!!”

“Whoa! Hey!” Backbreaker protests, leaning away from Oddball.

“Waoh! Hold on a minute! You’re welcome and all but maybe calm down a bit?”
Axis said.

Oddball lowers the (still lit) blowtorch and seemingly composes himself.

Doo-beep,” he apologetically chirps.

“Don’t worry about it. Just be more careful.”
Maximus said, able to give a decent assumption of what he meant based on the tone of the last sound.

“Now, what is it you tried to ask us before?”

Oddball jabs at the sheet of scrap metal with the blowtorch, scrawling a messy string of black neocybex letters upon its surface.

So, what happened to the other dinobots? They here too?

Maximus leaned forward to read the message.

“Oh, Grimlock actually told me about that when I talked to him the other day. He said something about the other dinobots getting exiled in the mass exodus. Grimlock was the last to leave, and based off the way he talked about them, I don’t think he’s seen the others in a long while.”

Oddball nods his head.

“I wonder where they are now. The team was legendary. It’s honestly hard to imagine bots like that on some bummer drifter colony.”
Maximus commented, thinking out loud.

Weep-boo-dooo,” Oddball wagers, shrugging his shoulders. It’s a big universe; anything could happen.

“I wonder if the rest of the Dinobots are looking for him,” Backbreaker ponders, indicating Grimlock.

“Or maybe they’ve assumed he’s up and died by now…”

“You’re an autobot right? You ever meet the Dinobots during the war?”
Axis asked.

Backbreaker nods.

“had the pleasure of fighting alongside 'em a couple times,” he says. “Can’t say I ever got acquainted with any of 'em, though.”

“What were they like?”
Maximus asked, very excitedly.

OOC: For reference, I’m going off of the G1 personalities. Though perhaps a bit more intelligent.

“Well,” Backbreaker says, “You’ve, uh… already met Grimlock, so I guess I don’t need to say much about him…”

“But what about the others? Swoop, Sludge, Slag, Snarl. What about them?”
He asked.

“Am I the only one who thought it was weird Grimlock was the only one who’s name didn’t start with an ‘s’?”
Axis said, more to herself than anyone else.

Spotlight walked into the room, hands behind his back and head slightly bowed.
He glanced up and noticed the several people in the room.
“Ah. I was hoping to speak to you.” He told Maximus and Axis.
