Lets face it guys. This would be the best thing to happen to gaming since pong. But really how kool would that be? And I know that TTV is SUPER busy, but just imagine that they did do a gaming channel, or at least a playlist. lol

No, but seriously, I just took advantage of the situation at hand and happened to get lucky. To be honest, we’ve always wanted to get to the point where we could do regular game LPs as content. But only the Hero Factory LPs were really successful. Everything else just failed.
We were going to wait until we had a good enough fanbase to start them up again, but they seem to be pretty heavily requested. So who knows? Maybe soon.
I’d honestly love to be at a place where people would come to us for us instead of just the stuff we talk about.

Eh, really, I don’t. They do what they do fine, and I see so many people on YouTube who can’t LP doing bad LPs when they have actual content they could put the same time into…
Please, please don’t just because of requests. Do LPs if you have a specific game you want done. Do LPs if you think you can provide an interesting unique commentary. Don’t just LP BIONICLE Heroes because it’s requested. Do it if you really want to (though, trust me, you don’t want to try to come up with commentary for that mess of a game.)
MNOG was a decent run, but I’ve seen some of your Maze of Shadows at TTV, and I’ve seen some of nameuunavailable, and, not to be rude, but they weren’t that great. Maze of Shadows especially just seemed like filler with no effort put into it. Again, I really don’t mean any offense to the two people who tried doing Maze of Shadows, but LPing is a lot more work than people credit it for to do well. Of course, most people don’t care if it’s done well, as the big names such as PewDiePie and Tobuscus have proven, but I want to see you guys make good content. Only do an LP if it’s really something you want to do, and then, don’t just upload the footage with commentary. Edit out tedious bits. Recommencement parts that came off as dull. Script some things out if you have to. Making a good LP takes work.

Dude, no joke, I think just about everyone in the cast hates that LP. Maze of Shadows is the punchline of so many jokes behind the scenes. Alena was such a terrible host, I swear. But I completely get what you’re saying. Make no mistake, LPing is really hard. Heck, commentary in general is hard. There’s a reason why most Bionicle podcasts don’t really keep going.
I’ve tried doing some LPs myself with Nostalgia Play, but those have had varying degrees of success. But MNOG with Meso was pretty good, and we’re looking to continue with those.
I hope we’ll work out a worthwhile formula soon enough. That being said, we did one of the greatest LPs I think we’ve ever done, but the footage for the last part got ruined. I do have the first part edited, though…maybe I’ll release it as an exclusive on here if you guys want to see that.

I’ve done some LP’s, it’s pretty difficult. I think it’s easier when you have more that one person, or if you’re like sleep deprived but amped up on suger or red bull (not Safe though), so that you’re weird, funny and random.
And I would LOVE to see that man!
What game did you do that you lost the footage for?
Funny that it seems you all hated Maze of Shadows too. That’s actually how I found TTV. I was looking at the competition for my own Maze of Shadows LP (which was actually worse than yours, if you can believe it). While I didn’t think yours was too good, I decided to check out the rest of the channel because of it.

In all seriousness, I’d love to see more gaming from you lads and single ladette, but like Ghoti said, only do it if you enjoy it. It wouldn’t hurt to get out more content for us to watch and discuss, unless it gets rid of time for the main TTV time.
To be honest, LPs are generally the easiest thing to put out. A lot of the content we’re planning now is taking time because we’re 1. Stockpiling them and making sure we have several episodes in the can before we release the first one 2. Very edit heavy, with scripts and voiceovers and voicework and animation and whatnot.
Even the podcast generally takes some editing magic to get a finished product. But LPs, although they usually do require a lot of editing, don’t take as much time to get done.
I think we’re going to start going through and picking games we like doing, and see where it goes from there. Getting everyone on at the same time seems to be the problem as of late.
It was Game Dev Tycoon. I’ve uploaded it to the channel. Let me make it an exclusive on here first and see if you guys like it, and if so, maybe it’ll see release on the main channel.

If you’re choosing games to do a similar format as the MNOG With Meso series (one person plays the other watches and or guides them), I recommend FTL. It’s mostly text-based though, so some of the action is taken away.
That one I’ve been wanting to do for a long while. Maybe we’ll get to that.
As much as I love TTV, their gaming channel would just be stuck in the traffic jam of gaming channels…
