The two cylinders are used to support the thing as its skeleton can’t hold the vertical part. The tail-tip would also be vertical according to the model I built in LDD, but gravity is just not kind on things of this size.
It contains no articulation.
In order to obtain the red tubes of proper length for each segment I’ve had to cut a bunch of red 14L (45 ribs) corrugated tubes. Every red tube in this creation is essentially a broken piece.
This is the Bionicle equivilant of a Mongolian Death Worm.
It’s incredibly well done - such a consistent look throughout. I don’t even want to imagine how much was spent buying all those pipes! If I was to be really picky, I would probably suggest having some more definition between the head and the rest of it’s body like you’d see in a real snake, perhaps by giving it more of a jaw-line. That’s me being picky though, this is fantastic.
