It’s a thread about unpopular opinions on movies and TV, not a “let’s generally discuss movies”. In the instance of The Last Jedi conversation,

So that discussion doesn’t belong here anyway. If someone were saying, for instance, “hey, I think the classic horror film Psycho from Alfred Hitchcock would be waaaayyyy better if it were in color” then you could discuss that until the cows come home, as it’s an unpopular opinion, and there’s not a dedicated Psycho movie topic.

I just felt that the general line of events and not looking at the details procured a movie very similar to a couple of previous star wars movies.

Venom is at least more entertaining than most Marvel movies. Whether it’s a good movie or not, it’s a lot of fun, and I personally rank it alongside Homecoming and Ragnarok.

I’ll probably like it then. That’s kinda how I felt about the first Jurassic world. Wasn’t a great movie, but it was fun

My unpopular opinions:
Cars 2 is a master piece. I really don’t know why people hate it. Develops the character of Mater, giving him his own movie. The action scenes are fantastic. Finn McMissle is my favourite Pixar character. This is probably the best Spy Comedy movie I have ever seen. I have watched it like 10 times, and still didn’t get bored of it. IMO, is one of the best Pixar Movies (Please don’t hate me for this)

Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and 3 are pretty good. The third one is probably my favourite. The fifth one is also pretty good. I was shocked when I saw the the Stranger Tides performed better the Dead Men’s Chest and At World’s End. I don’t know why is this, since the fourth one is trash in my opinion.

The third Home Alone made me laugh much more then the original two movies. It was not meant to be a good movie, but a movie that would make you laugh, and it touched that goal to me. Also, Holyday Heist isn’t that bad.

I think Last Jedi was pretty good. It was fun, entertaining, and well done. The only thing I didn’t like was that it copied some scenes from the original films. But other then that, I actually enjoyed it.

I actually thing that Iron Man 3 was better then the first one. I don’t know what people don’t like about it.

Ant Man and The Wasp was amazing. It was a fun, comedy movie that you can watch with your family. I don’t know who could have come up with such funny ideas.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is my 2nd favourite Jurassic movie after the Original. Better then the first Jurassic World is my opinion.

Not sure whether or not I’ve seen it, but if it’s not Kevin, I don’t care.

Glares at Force Awakens, but glaring at the entire movie…

All the other ones I’ve either stated as agreeing with or disagreeing with, and in the case of Jurassic World 2, I haven’t seen it.

I disagree with just about all of this except for Ironman 3. I did like 3 better than 1, though I didn’t like 1 a whole lot either.

Cars 2 was too different imo. It didn’t have the nostalgic feel of the other two. It just wasn’t cars.

I liked last jedi too.

Eh, idk. I don’t think IM3 was as bad as people think, but far from as good as the other two.

AMATW was good, but not as good as most other Marvel movies. It was pretty repetitive. (They think they’ve gotten away, ppl appear out of no where to fight)

Haven’t seen it.

While I agree on the Fact that Cars 2 was different from the other Cars Movies, IMO, this Spy-Comedy Type works best with Cars Rather then any other of the Pixar Movies. While Racing was not the main point of the movie, it still had an important part. But it was a fun, well made movie. If it wasn’t with that Cars Name on, people would have loved it 100%

Also, I think Cars 3 was not that great and Cars 2 was way better then it.

More of my unpopular opinions:

Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was actually pretty good. Aliens arren’t even the main point of the movie. the Russians are .That alien just shows up at the end of the movie, and I had no problem with it. It kept all of the Indiana Jones-style adventure and action, and If you think of it that way, It’s actually a pretty good sequel. And also that crystal skull (which, yes belonged to an alien, but there is nothing bad about that) was an interesting artifact that the story was made on. So, this movie is not bad at any means.

Aslo I think Temple of Doom was very good. I know, it got a little dark at the middle of the film, but after that, it’s amazing. Even if you hate this movie, you can’t forget that mine cart chase scene (one of the most iconic in the whole francize in my opinion.) Overall, If you don’t care about the dark elements, It’s a great movie. (Le’s also not forget this is one of the original movies, unlike Kingdom of Crystal Skull)

I don’t know how popular this opinion is, but I thing on Stranger Tides (fourth movie of Pirates on the Carribean) is absolute TRASH. One of the worst movies I have ever seen. And a popular movie YouTuber said it was better then 2 and 3. I can’t belive he really said that, and I won’t forgive him for that!

I think LEGO Batman movie was the worst out of the three. Why is LEGO just so obsessed with frekin’ BATMAN?!?!?!

Anyway, I agree with you on the Pirates of the Carribean movies, though I still think The Black Pearl is the best. Iron Man 3 is good, but it’s just not as metal as Iron Man 1. I don’t know what you see in Cars 2, but to each their own.
