UPDATE:
Thank you everyone for the wishes.
I guess it worked, because it turns out that I am just barely too young to have surgery for this (I’m currently 17, and they don’t do the surgery unless you’re at least 19), so they’ll try to have me wear a brace for the next year that will push my rib cage back, compressing it into shape. If it works, I’ll be able to go on without surgery, but if it doesn’t, I’ll go into surgery then. Again, thanks for all the support guys!
