Werewolves of the Moonlit Cross Artwork Compilation

Here I will be posting all my official art for a small tabletop RPG called “Werewolves of the Moonlit Cross” by Arthur Berk. This is not intended as promotion, just a place to share the art I am making. It’s essentially become my first professional project, and I’m proud of the work for it, so I wanted to share.

Context: “What is ‘Werewolves of the Moonlit Cross?’” It’s a Gothic Horror Fantasy table top roleplaying game that takes place in 15th Century Europe. It’s about a monastic Catholic knight order who are secretly werewolves, except they are forces for good that fight other monsters of the night. They fight evil fey, sea monsters, vampires, and other werewolves of evil origin.

The Hunter, a class type for the stealthy.

The Executioner, a class type for the fearsome warrior.

The Slayer, a class type that utilizes holy ash for its magic.

A werelock, a magically-inclined evil werewolf that serves as an enemy of the Moonlit Cross as members of a satanic cult. This is emphasized with their use of fire magic.

Your art style and color choices are as excellent as usual. But, even without color, the werelock is still terrifying!

The client actually wanted the enemies in black and white, an homage to old dnd monster manuals.

 I actually intentionally say in my comms not to request furry artwork.

I agree it could absolutely be a 90s animated cartoon that’s why I’m into the concept. Having a lot of fun drawing it.

Quite fun to see how many unique designs you made for werewolves specifically. The last one is very interesting too.

More monsters.

#2. The Bloat Brine. A disgusting creature from the depths, claimed fishermen.

#3. Bittershade Sergeants. The raising of the old dead Danes who once pillaged the lands of England are now back with a vengeance.

This creature’s pretty terrifying. It definitely captures the “disgusting” descriptor you mentioned.

I like how this guy looks almost normal–at least until one notices the emaciated arms and body.

Another enemy for you, #4 the Summoner. They often conjure creatures of the vile deep.

Here is the jerk who started this entire mess of werewolves, the king of Arcadia, Lycaon.
