Right now, I’m close to finishing Mario & Luigi: Brothership (I’m excited to finally be able to listen to the soundtrack without spoiling the game). Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is always a fun constant, and I just started Yoshi and the Mysterious Book earlier this week (it’s more fun than it looks). I’m also trying to get as much time as I can out of Mario Kart Tour before it shuts down next month.
Hmm… I wonder what game company’s products I consume the most?

Got hooked on War Thunder over the summer. I only really play the tanks, even though there’s boats and planes too. Grindy as hell but it’s fun when you get rolling.
Current favorite tank is probably the T29. Put some decals on it, so the camouflage isn’t really doing much.

Just finished playing through all of Final Fantasy VI for SNES.
It’s impressive just what was possible on the Super Nintendo, and FFVI is one of the few titles that really pushes the system to its limits. The story has a tremendous amount of missed potential to be something really interesting, but for what it is (and how dated it is in some areas) it cam be quite compelling at times. The no-fixed-protagonist rule really hurts the chances of this ever getting a remake, as the game is structured around the pov character changing constantly.
But the real highlight, more than the mid-progress plot twist and the completely unhinged enemy designs, is the killer soundtrack. The sheer variety of pieces and the leitmotifs that pop up with notable frequency help set it apart as one of the best soundtracks for any video game and among the absolute best the Final Fantasy series has to offer.
The actual game is okay, but the legacy it has and the influence on later titles (and games in general) push it all the way into goated. Play it if you have no scruples about using Gau and the Stray Cat/Nightshade rage to completely break the game and invalidate every boss fight (or if you want to see a man suplex an entire train).

I’m currently playing a lot of Tetrisphere, which I picked up recently. Despite the name it really doesn’t have much to do with Tetris (if anything, it’s closer to Block Blast), but it’s a very new and unique experience that’s quite a lot of fun! I honestly don’t think it’ll become one of my mainstay favorites after the novelty wears off, but for now I really enjoy it.

Currently playing a mix of Fortnite, TF2, Half-Life 2, and some Halo if I get MCC reinstalled (this will take a while because it’s about 75 gigs for launcher + Halo 3). I should play some more War Thunder, as I have it installed, but haven’t played enough to get good at spotting players.
