With no set life spans, and some beings having been active for over 100,000 years, what does it mean to really call something, “Older”? I mean, we have the Turaga being old-looking and physically feeble, at least compared to Toa, but Helryx is still out kicking Makuta teeth in while being super-duper old. Would a better name be, “Mask of Degradation”, or, “Mask of Enfeeblement?”

There are no set life spans that we created, that doesn’t mean the BIONICLE characters don’t have them. Simply that we chose not to nail them down. That said, there is a difference between aging at your normal speed and accelerated aging, which has a dramatic impact on your body.
