I’ve been binging all this artists music and it is amazing. Think Blade Runner 2049 levels of bleak ambience.
Edit: Slate-Coloured Storm and On A Shell Shattered Beach are even better.

The issue with Nico and the Niners as a single is that it’s one of the few songs on the record that requires understanding of the Trench lore/ARG to appreciate. Chlorine and Jumpsuit do not, though they do add to it.
Neon Gravestones is still the best song on the record IMO.
