What was your biggest or most influential inspiration for the story?

Well, as you know, I didn’t create BIONICLE, so I can’t speak to the inspirations of the people who did. For myself, I guess I would just say it was a distillation of decades of comic reading and a handful of years of writing gaming adventures … just a familiarity with that kind of plotting and pacing. And, of course, BIONICLE is just such a rich universe that you could write in it all day long.
