Your MOCcing Workspace!

i guess you don’t understand a joke

I build on the carpet in my room and organize most of my parts in shoeboxes

For MOCs, I mainly build on the floor in my basement. For sets, I mainly build in my room.

Floor or desk. Depends on which kind of mood I’m in.

Currently I’m working on transferring my organization from color-based, to piece-based. All of this is in my bedroom and I have a wall of individual buckets holding individual brick shape and brick shape categories. I have all my G2 sets disassembled and organized, but my system collection :no_mouth: ,yeah that’s gonna take a while.

I know that feeling

Where else-my room.

Garage.
When I get my own place? (Which is probably going to be in about a year and a half. Whoa. That’s a thing. Yikes.)
Probably whatever room of the apartment I use as a study. Unless there happens to be another room, then I’d use that.

I build on the floor, always have. I tried to build on a table but not everything would fit.

so my floor is covered in LEGO.

If it’s system I build on the floor

If it’s bionicle I put my pieces on the floor and build on my bed while I listen to music.

I build on the floor of my room, I store my Creations on the shelves and the table I´ve got within my room and I tend to listen to some kind of Music or Watch some Youtube videos while I build.

It depends for me. If I’m building a new set, I like to go into the TV room. If I’m MoCing, I go into my entertainment room. If I’m rebuilding old sets or MoCing with system, I go in my bedroom.

Resisting urge to make Political wall joke.

Where the bricks go there I will follow. In my room? Sure. In my brother’s room? Why not? In the bathroom? Not totally object.

In my room. On the floor.

Isn’t this already a topic?

I’ve got a table I sit at. I’m old so I can’t get down on the floor and moc anymore. Just got all my technical rod elements sorted together for quick use.

I just use open top bins placed on the left side of a desk in my basement. I don’t have a giant collection of parts, and the parts I primarily MOC with are CCBS/Technic. I occasionally take a piece of weaponry or two or armor from one of my 3 G1 sets. If I dismantle any of my G1 sets for MOCing, I place them in separate bins so that I can rebuild it when I want. I organize my pieces in the following categories:

Pins
Axles
Ball and Socket connectors (Y joints, Glatorian necks, Hordika necks, ball joints)
Gears, washers and spacers
Weird Technic connectors
Liftarms
CCBS Size 5 and greater shells and armor add ons
CCBS torso armor and size 4 and below armor shells
Weaponry
Miscellaneous stuff (blaster barrels, bent technic connectors, rubberband holders, etc)
Pinaxles and other technic connectors (pieces with a pin hole in the center and either an axle or a pin sticking out of it, and other pieces like it)
Bionicle Armor (Unity pieces, shadow traps, Ekimu’s cinderella wheel)
Masks
Torsos
Miscellaneous elements (horns, exo force minifig arms, etc)
CCBS joints

  1. Box for lego
  2. smaller Box for special lego (parts of a Moc, cool looking pieces, etc…)
  3. Finished Mocs and sets go in my drawer, on my drawer, or on my table

That’s how I try to organize my pieces, but usually, half of them are on the floor and a bunch of them are somewhere under my bed (Where are you, great Huna?!1!? :sob:)

I build things on the floor, btw.

@N01InParticular, looks like someone didn’trevive a topic properly, we must punish him

The floor is the best workspace
