something M:TG does right tho is that it’s set rotations are much better then how Konami currently handles it’s “Banlist” (AKA what product to stop selling and what to sell next).
Magic the gathering is not dominated by weeaboos
sorry, that’s rude
but…
It’s a cool system, it is very big in terms of selection and types, it is fairly balanced, has some interesting card synergy, planeswalkers, colored mana, fantasy, awesome lore created for it, some super cool mechanics, and yet how you make your deck takes skill and thought and is very rewarding when done right.
Except for the gods of broken that is “Emrakul, the Aeons torn”, “Karn liberated”, platinum angel, the other eldrazi titans, and some other tragically broken cards (by broken, I don’t mean incredibly strong. I mean too strong for the game to work.
Seriously, though, I like MTG. It’s a good game, though it has some issues.
i will fite to my death on what is and what is not a weeb
i think my biggest issue with it is like
the lack of relation between the cards outside of types
like, vanguard has the clans all linked and it’s all cool
magic just has it’s mana types and that’s really it
you can’t create an army of giant robots using magical lions as space ships for your deck
instead you get one-off kind of cards that don’t link together in the art
makes me sad because the art is so good
The art IS good.
Depends, actually. If you get stuff from the same block and of the same creature type, it works cohesively.
…A weeaboo is someone who is not Japanese but wants to be/ thinks they are. Typically, they abandon their own culture in favor of praising Papanese culture, but often bungle it and make a mockery of Japanese culture (as well as their own). They praise one of the most xenophobic cultures on earth and try to become part of it. They pretty much never do, and make those around them sad.
I will not ever back down on being a weeaboo being bad. It goes beyond cringe and into the realm of pathetic abandonment of your own heritage and defilement of another people’s culture.
Here is a man of Japanese descent (filthy frank)'s thoughts on weeaboos:
No offence intended to people who casually watch/ enjoy anime or think Japan is cool. But if you call yourself a weeaboo, that is not a good thing.
Please don’t flag this post, as part of it is on-topic and I don’t mean for it to offend anyone except people who ruin Japanese culture for others.
i know who a weeb is man i’ve been watching frank for years yo
i got a friend who’s a weeb
i went to japan and i saw filthy weebs
i just find weebs to be more in the weiss community rather then yugioh
l0l xDDD im an otakuu i luv atek on titan lol kawiwii desu lol ne mem hahahahaha i lov sao
well like
it’s just not as dedicated to it as i would love it to be
and the redraw hand at start of game is total bullmemes imo. u got a bad hand? work with it, prove ur skill by being able to work wit de imposhible.
Beyblade while on the surface may appear as just spinning tops, actually requires tactics and strategy, picking the best combination of parts as well as the angle and speed of launch is important for actually winning, this is infinitely more true for the metal series.
It’s not as needlessly complex as card games but it’s not mindless, it’s just action oriented.
Also, when you don’t have anyone around to battle you still have a cool toy, unlike cards games, which are basically pretty paper rectangles.
the worst children’s game
is
gosh dang
tag
u know why
because it requires nothing but fasts
and not even fasts
just
long distance fasts
it’s fat shaming
i’m bluecat909278 on tumblr and i identify as a bionicle
it’s strange
yeah but card games online
so it’s like racing
the best car with the best pilot wins
i will say that the arenas are absolute beast and beat the playmats for card games by far
That’s a given, right?
The little toys are cool if you are a boy ages 8-11, but the game is awful.
Also, some of the bakugan are what I call “box bots:” a joke phrase I made up that means just a box that has one tiny thing pop out. Some are really cool and can look neat and be innovative… But some are just one thing popping up.
It also bothered me that they never fully transformed, there’s always something that needs to be manually transformed, why even bother with the spring gimmick if you only got it half working?
I mean I could forgive a tiny horn or something, but the feet? Half the transformation?
I like MTG faaaar better than any other card game. Some cards are really broken, but most were mentioned before. My personal favorite card from MTG exemplifies why I like it so much (it actually doesn’t):
Jace the Mind Sculptor (which is super expensive and I don’t have)
