You’re egyptian?
Also, I know a joke that goes,
A dumb American says to an Australian, “do you ride kangaroos in Australia?”
The Aussie replies, “No. Do you ride fat people in America?”

I have the worst stereotypes…

‘‘Do you live in a hut’’

‘‘How do you even have internet in South america’’

‘‘I bet your government is corrupt’’ (Which it is, but no politics).

‘‘Taco, taco ole or something’’ (Even though i’m not from Spain or Mexico.)

I no joke once had someone ask me:
“What do you use for currency in Hawaii?”
Being the kind and noble man I am, I told them the honest answer.
“Sea dollars, though occasionally coconuts are used as well in a sort of barter and trade system.”

I’ve never had somebody ask me about the UK even though I am just over half British. Thankfully, I’ve never had somebody ask me something like:

“Do you always eat fish and chips for dinner”

For some reason, some people (mainly Americans for some reason) believe we have polar bears in Sweden.

The truth? Yes, we do have polar bears in Sweden. When one reaches 18, one is supposed to go out in the wilderness and bring one of them down with your bare hands. That is how you prove you’ve reached adulthood.

But do you? /s

You see, that makes perfect sense to me, an American, because you’re descended from Vikings.

I want to prove my theory wrong, prpl, as an artist, do you have any problems? I mean, every single artist I know had some kind of problem, with their family, their friends, themselves, maybe even some kind of illness

could anyone prove me wrong?

I think you described everyone, not just artists. Theorizing that all artists have personal problems is just like theorizing that all chefs have to eat. Everyone has problems, no matter who they are. No-one is perfect.

Obviously prpl only has the choices of revealing personal information, lying, or ignoring your question; all of which aren’t an ideal situation.

Alot of people use the internet as a way to escape their irl problems, so randomly asking someone if they have family issues or illness is a “great” way to bring to front-of-mind the exact thing they would prefer not to focus on while they are online.

So yes, your theory is right, all artists have problems just like everyone else.

(Actually descended from Vikings, to a degree that I don’t actually know the extent of, but it’s around the lower end… BUT IT’S THERE)
My experience with stereotypes is that they’re stupid, and almost never true.
Unless it’s about the US. A lot of the ones I’ve heard are true.

I don’t know what that is but I really like it.
