A tribute: Good Guy 2016

Not meant to be a joke topic. Just something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time.

After seeing the poor soul Good Guy being burned in a horrible fire in the “Epilogue” Recap Review episode, I asked myself: "What if Lego made a 2016 Good Guy? Would he still be hated just as much by the evil lord Eljay? Would he look as magnificient as the original?
This MOC really put my abilities to the test.
But now, I’m proud to present Good Guy 2016!

I sadly didn’t find a better way for the feet (using pieces that weren’t exclusive to G1), that still is really simple and still allows for stable stances, so I’d be happy to recieve suggestions.

For what this MOC was based off, it does its job extremely well. The overall look of Good Guy was well correlated into CCBS.

I like how you pulled off the hunchback look, most other good guys are generic upright protector builds

They’re Metru red, unfortunately.

Now Good Guy doesn’t have an open ball joint, he has a open ball joint connecter, eater, thing, or whatever it’s called. Honestly, he’s too good. I’d like to see more large gaps, especially in the torso. And blue goes too well with black and red. I wanna see green eyes that don’t compliment the colour scheme as much.

Seriously though, good representation of Good Guy as a 2016 edition. He looks as good a Good Guy as ever.
