Arcana: the downfall

Tortwig grunted as she toppled over.
She frowned as she lay on the floor.
“Grrr…”

He then rested his foot gently on her hand, “now, admit defeat.”

Tortwig tried to grab the foot and twist it, her claws extended.

He gasped, caught off guard, before falling over

Tortwig sat up and tried to grab the angel’s throat.

He snarled as she did so, “pathetic creature, I’ve granted you many mercies, and this is how you repay me?”

Tortwig began to squeeze.
"Capturing me is not mercy. "

“then finish the job.”

Tortwig frowns, and then pauses.
“I… I…” she releases the angel and rerracts her claws. She sits back, stunned.
Her eyes fill with tears, some of which fall down her face.

He slowly got up, “is that all it took?” He asked, before kicking at her

She took the blow, as a few more tears dripped down her face
“E-ed-edward…” she stuttered.
“i wish you were here…” she thought.

Tortwig fell to the ground, saying nothing.
She looked up at the ceiling blankly.

He picked up the chains

Tortwig smiled and lunged towards the angel.
She grabbed at his throat, claws extended.

His eyes widen, before collapsing, his throat slit open

Tortwig stood over the angel.
“It had to be done…” she told herself. She dropped the knife.
She picked up Duo and searched for her things.

There seemed to be nothing else on The vehicle

She searched for an exit.

There was a hatch above her
