Are Shadow Leeches long?

On the Bionicle wikia, it’s said that Shadow Leeches are roughly 2 feet long in the books (No, they didn’t specify which book.) Despite this, Bionicle Wikia is very unreliable, and there’s no citation. Can anyone confirm if this is true (preferably with an excerpt from the book(s.))
