Autobiography Adventures! The Story of Altair

Here is his story…

Baltar, one of a tribal specie, was living on his remote island, peacefully pondering his thoughts; Hmm, I wonder what kind of creature would I find today? he asked himself. He got up off the rock he was perching on, and walked towards the forest, looking for something new. He heard a rustle and stopped to look. His eyes darted around. “Aw man, just a mixuirrel.” (Mix Squirrel).
He realized he had forgotten his book, he turned back to grab it when he heard a sloshing sound. He whipped around, starting for the mud pool. He peeked through the bushes. He saw a tall looming figure, dried mud clinging to its legs, large, but defective, crystal wings sprouting off its back, a green scaly body, a cubit shining in the center of its chest. “Is that- a Mud Crawler?! Wow!” he exclaimed. He sprinted back to grab his book and pencil. Once he got back to the mud pool, he wasted no time and got straight into drawing it.

Back at the campfire on his island, he was reviewing his progress of today with his fellow mixels. That night he thought about the wonders he had seen. He was ready for so much more. He woke up the next morning jumping out of his bed. He remembered his book, and ran to the water, just to check on the Energy Fish. Still had all 3, all were flashing the light probes. He already had a section about them, he needed something new, something different. Where haven’t I been yet? He thought. The sands! He realized he needed to explore the wide deserts of his island. The journey was not favouring but not perilous. Once he got there, he was very intrigued, the surroundings were so very different. He walked along through the sands, he was looking down, at the sand for the moment, and when he looked up; “Whoa! What is that!” he saw a large group of huge lizard like beasts, walking on two legs around in the dunes. “What should I call you, hmm. Desert Wanderer! Yes, that perfect!” After producing research on the Desert Wanderers, he was beginning to lose interest in his surroundings. It was bland in his mind. Make the most of it. He told himself. At least you found a new species!

He continued his discoveries, and in the end, he had finished his book. He gave it to his people as a sign of thanks, to encouraging his studies over the years.
