I recall several instances in G1 when kanohi were fused to someone’s face, most prominently the Toa Hordika and Vezon. While the Hordika were unable to access their mask powers due to the lack of mental discipline, were they still and Vezon with the fused Olmak still vulnerable to mask infection, effectively permanent as the infected kanohi could not be removed from their faces?
