Luxatium helps Umbrian out of the cage, then looks at Michael. “Which way do we go now?”

“I can sense the way out not too far ahead. We must press on.” Michael commanded.

Suddenly, everyone would hear a scurrying in the darkness. Mark looked around apprehensively, as he attempted to find what was stalking them.

Then, a pack of shades leapt out at everyone, releasing inhuman screeches.

He nods, “It’s an energy that is ever-present and connects all parts of the Multiverse like how a computer circuit connects each component with one another and allows energy to travel to and fro between all of them.” He summarized.

The angel nodded.
“Exactly. So if you wish to extract Ignotium Energy from the source, then you must now access the those paths.”

Dr. X ponders on how he could expose the Thread.

If it connects the Multiverse together, it may exist between them…to expose such space requires a rift…if all five formed that, perhaps only two could create a sufficient gap…worth a shot. he thought as he rigged up an Ignotium collector and looked at the Angel, his hand charging with Xalnergy, “Use a Primordial Energy attack on my mark.” He whispered as he stood so the device was perfectly between himself and the Angel.

Not exactly a controlled environment but, I think the situation calls for a bit of recklessness. he thought.

The angel nodded, stepping back as he charged an orb of Primordial energy in his hands.

“Now!” Dr. X yelled as he fired an orb of Xalnergy straight ahead toward the Angel…or, to be more accurate, straight at the air just above the device he had just built.

The angel blasted the primordial energy at the Xalnergy blast, and they collided together.

OOC: quick reminder what’s a shade?

the device activated in response to the blast.

Dr. X watched anxiously to see if his idea worked.

OOC: Shades are The Shadow King’s goons. They’re semi-sentient Shadow golems that look like murky skeletal figures

@BlackBeltGamer98

A wormhole suddenly opened, generated by the collision of the two energies.
“After you…” the angle said to Dr. X.

Luxatium fires light and primal energy at the shades. The light sputters in transit.

Dr. X activated the harvesting and collecting function of the device, a rod of metal rising up into the wormhole to draw in the Ignotium.

The Shades hissed as their physical structure was disrupted by the blasts. However, they soon reformed their bodies together and tried to attack Omega again.

@TBT_Emerald

It was a little effective against the Shades and even managed to kill some. However, there were still plenty left. The Shades began circling Luxatium, hissing at him.

@BlackBeltGamer98

The device would manage to succeed in harvesting and collecting the Ignotium energy, and storing it in Dr. X’s device.

Omega grabbed the nearest shade and proceeded to use it as an improvised club

The other Shades were knocked away like bowling pins by Omega’s “club”.

Omega then began smashing his “club” into the nearest unlucky shade

The shade flew back from the force.

Behind Omega, a Shade snuck up and attempted to stealthily slash him

The shade’s blade would sink into a cable but yield nothing, the missile launcher on omegas shoulder however began to turn around in a somehow menacing fashion
