Why was the G1 Vahi in the G2 story animations? Was Lego planning to connect the generations? Or was it just an easter egg?
Greg has no enterprise on G2 so he wouldn’t know.
They only mention the Mask of Time in the books and revealed the shaping in the Graphic Novels for the upper half;
However due to past official response, both generation are not connected despite the original Vahi (bottom half) being cannon on both generations.

For what it’s worth, I was told on more than one occasion that there was no connection between G1 and G2.
