Journey to One Makuta: Original Form

There’s been much discussion over Makuta’s ultimate form from the JtO animation. But I also loved how they animated his original form. So I began to build a Moc of it.

I will soon take pics showing his construction.

Where did you get the purple chest piece from? (Cool MoC btw)

It’s just a decal I made, it’s not the best on either.

Shouldn’t this be in Lego creations

I got that fixed.

I also liked his JtO Mask Maker design. I like your decal, and overall Makuta looks cool.

Thanks. I’m trying to get some pics to show the torso build.

Wow.
Very impressive.

Oh Thanx dear friend so awesome i think i need buy another MMvsSG to build him heh,Perfecto! :+1:

I really did like that he wasn’t an exact clone of Ekimu in JTO. The MOC, while the concept is cool, I think the execution falls a bit flat. Mainly the shoulders and chest area. The gold chest plate seems to be about a stud too low and the gold shoulders are just kind of sitting there, they don’t really look like part of the build.

Well I could raise the chest plate by one stud on the shell then add a bushing to the exposed pin. It would wobble a lot though, unlike on Ekimu here.

This armor piece doesn’t move as much as a chest plate.
As for the shoulders, it was a bit of a sacrifice between form and function. I wanted to keep the gear function in the arm, so the armor pieces couldn’t fit directly on the shoulders.

Love this Ekumu system for Shield and Hammer, its relly looks like from JtO.

Why thank you.

In that case I’d recommend just putting the add on piece directly on the trans shell in the upper arms. It would improve the form and still keep the function.

I have to rip you off now…

I’ve actually tried that, it would lock up the gear function and limit the shoulder articulation.

@Ninjanicktf Just give me some credit for the design :stuck_out_tongue:
