I figured I might as well return to the boards with a new MOC or two, so I decided to revamp an old MOC.
Kiree, originally an Okotan villager MOC, was a character I always wish I had done more with. Then I figured; how about make her a Toa? Well, this was the result!
Lovely stuff! She looks pretty sleek, but I can’t help but think an Okotan would have a bit more random extra detail on the armour shells, like the sets do. There’s space for a heartlight there too~
A three long axles with a pin for one side is being used, and this leaves no space to attach a stud.
My first goal was to make a Toa version that captures her smaller form. I’m not sure what I can do about it, but I always like to improve MOCs over time
I’ve been looking for a way to fix this, and unfortunately have come to a blank. The problem is, I want to keep all the shells the same and add-ons would bulk it up too much.
Very nice! I actually like the way the feet look, and the spear is very cool (I love Nuju Hordika’s blades). I’m loving the torso–it’s very feminine, but not at all suggestive, so great work there!
I look forward to seeing what else you have to post in the future!
This is a design I’ve had for a few months, and it’s always been (what I would consider to be) my most useful MOCing technique of my own. It’s pretty versatile, and can be edited (my MOC Rhyuto demonstrates this).
And I’m glad you enjoy the MOC! I didn’t spend too long on this but it’s quickly become one of my favorites of what I’ve built.
Ah, i never looked at the first two years of Hero Factory, At that time i was still one of the kids who was salty at Lego for cancelling Bionicle.
Then I saw Witch doctor and instantly realized what a fool I’d been.
