LEGO Kamen Rider Drive Tridoron

So after a good 6 hours of work, I finished building a new MOC. This time, rather than being a Kamen Rider figure, it’s a car driven by a Kamen Rider in minifigure scale.

Tridoron

After I made my Fourze MOC and saw how exposed studs can really detract from a MOC’s appearance, I tried my best to cover up as many studs on this as possible. However, I couldn’t find a way to make the entire roof tiled without making it significantly less sturdy, so I guess this will do.

I couldn’t find many reference pictures for the back of Tridoron, so I sorta improvised.

The underside is very plain, but it’s not like I could have added many details at this scale.

Of course, I made a Tomari Shinnosuke minifigure to go with it. But he doesn’t just go with it. He goes in it.

Inside the driver’s seat, there is space for two minifigures to comfortably sit inside, a steering wheel, a spot for Belt-San next to the steering wheel, and the gray 1x2 slope is supposed to represent the spot on the actual Tridoron where they store ■■■■■ Cars. Another reason why I went with studs for the roof instead of tiles is that if I used tiles, it would be much more difficult to seat the minifigures inside because I would have to add plates on the underside to connect the tiles.

As you can see, good ol’ Shin-Nii-San and my sigfig can fit inside with plenty of space and have a Nice Drive.

Nice ride there. Exposed studs here IMO aren’t a problem.

It’s accurate, but I don’t really like it.
I don’t feel the front flows well into the back.

It definitely looks like what it’d based off, but you should try using some pieces and techniques from the Speed Champions sets to better pull off the complex angles and curves.

Looks really cool, though.

Eh, I like the look as is, but if it did have tiles, it would probably look better. But it’s more for the sake of stability.

I don’t think I could have continued the white stripes onto the back or done much else to make it flow together better. It’s moreso the fault of the in-series design than anything.[quote=“PekekoaOfJungle, post:11, topic:26799”]

I’ll definitely try integrating pieces from those sets into this if I ever get them. But I will admit that they have some interesting techniques.

Could be more curvy from angles, but great job capturing the look of the source.

Thanks! It is pretty blocky, I will admit, but when you’re working with system pieces, it’s kinda difficult to avoid that.

Looks awsome. Also I would want to see type wild done like this.

Thanks! But I don’t think I’ll be making any of Tridoron’s other forms anytime soon. I originally wanted to make it transform, but at this scale, that would be pretty difficult to do. Maybe I’ll get to it eventually, but I dunno.

MY GOD DID YOU NAIL THIS! absolutely love this, especially the shinouske minifig. have you been keeping up with ghost?

Thank you! And yes, I have, actually. I try to keep up with Ghost and Zyuohger as well as Dino Charge when that comes back as the episodes come out.
