So after a good 6 hours of work, I finished building a new MOC. This time, rather than being a Kamen Rider figure, it’s a car driven by a Kamen Rider in minifigure scale.
After I made my Fourze MOC and saw how exposed studs can really detract from a MOC’s appearance, I tried my best to cover up as many studs on this as possible. However, I couldn’t find a way to make the entire roof tiled without making it significantly less sturdy, so I guess this will do.
Inside the driver’s seat, there is space for two minifigures to comfortably sit inside, a steering wheel, a spot for Belt-San next to the steering wheel, and the gray 1x2 slope is supposed to represent the spot on the actual Tridoron where they store ■■■■■ Cars. Another reason why I went with studs for the roof instead of tiles is that if I used tiles, it would be much more difficult to seat the minifigures inside because I would have to add plates on the underside to connect the tiles.
It definitely looks like what it’d based off, but you should try using some pieces and techniques from the Speed Champions sets to better pull off the complex angles and curves.
Eh, I like the look as is, but if it did have tiles, it would probably look better. But it’s more for the sake of stability.
I don’t think I could have continued the white stripes onto the back or done much else to make it flow together better. It’s moreso the fault of the in-series design than anything.[quote=“PekekoaOfJungle, post:11, topic:26799”]

I’ll definitely try integrating pieces from those sets into this if I ever get them. But I will admit that they have some interesting techniques.
Thanks! But I don’t think I’ll be making any of Tridoron’s other forms anytime soon. I originally wanted to make it transform, but at this scale, that would be pretty difficult to do. Maybe I’ll get to it eventually, but I dunno.
