Not if the child if fully grown.
Father to son works because the father will always be the dad, while the son will always be the offspring.

Website bios are almost never canon, mainly because the people who write the bios don’t write any of the books, comics, animations, etc.

What if a female protector had a child? It would be “Mother to child” Then again, the way “children” works isn’t fully clear yet.
