“okay,” she sais sitting down.
“I just can’t figure it out. I asked the headmaster of Shade if Sayokome was her real name and he told me that although he admits Sayokome was a cover, he says he’s not allowed to reveal, and I quote, ‘his real name’.”
“how intriguing.”
“‘His’, he said ‘his’. I don’t know why Yalani would make a second cover, but there’s so much that suggests he’s not ‘Yalani’.”
“when we find him, we’ll find out.”

“Now where did John end up?” Paul asks as he looks around for him.
“By Oliver . . . do you mean Iris?”

Mira looked confused. “What happened?”
Paul gets up and heads to the kitchen, where Beth was cleaning. They talk for a few minutes and Paul pays for lunch. He returns to the table holding John. “Ready to go?” He asks Toko.
“her semblance seemed to have been overloaded, so it’s a possible he split from Iris.”
Toko nods
“Then let’s get going, I don’t want Soshi mad at me.” Paul says as he heads towards the door.
