Toa Tupac is a Toa of Light that possesses the Kanohi Mengu. This Mask of Unity had the ability to store different Powers of Masks it came into contact with into itself, similar to the Golden Kanohi but without the need for a Suva. However, The Mask of Unity had restrictions, this Kanohi had a limit to the amount of different abilities it could store; which was dependent on their power levels (Stronger masks meant fewer abilities). Also, if the sought after mask ability was powerful enough (for example Legendary Kanohi), the Kanohi Mengu may become corrupted and affect the user as well. Toa Tupac suffered this consequence when he came across the Kanohi Ignika and attempted to absorb it’s power. The Mask of Life altered the Kanohi Mengu’s ability to absorb Kanohi Powers into itself, as well as it’s appearance. The Mask of Unity now resembled a translucent Kanohi Ignika. Toa Tupac was no longer able to absorb powers he came into contact with. Now Tupac had to collect Kanoka Disks or protodermis and use his elemental powers to forge masks that could serve as vessels for the powers he wanted to absorb. Upon doing so, Tupac was able to absorb the powers of Kanohi he came into contact with; by creating a duplicate mask. However, these mask duplicates were flawed and their powers would not last long. The mask’s power would be drained upon usage, eventually leaving a translucent Kanohi behind. These translucent Kanohi had no power and would have to be repaired by coming into contact with their respective counterparts again. The rate at which these duplicated masks would drain depended on the quality of Kanoka Disks that were used to create them. If the duplicate were created with a weak disk, then the mask’s power wouldn’t last long at all. The more powerful the Kanohi was that Tupac was trying to duplicate, the higher the level of Kanoka discs he would need. Since the altered Mask of Unity could no longer hold mask abilities, Tupac began to wear several of his duplicated masks. The fact that these masks can become drained of power upon usage is another factor in which why Tupac carried so many of them. Toa Tupac continues his voyage, now collecting as many powerful Kanoka discs as he can so that he could build up his arsenal of duplicate masks.

So, no context then?

OK then, meh, the 3D-printed masks are nice.

Those are some cool 3D printed masks!

Kay, he looks good. but the legs seem way too skinny for his upper body. and his lower arms are too long and the pre-bent look is awkward.

Seeing as I’ve heard of him before, and looking at him, he looks like a decent OP toa of light(?) with every single legendary mask on him

The moc is meh but the masks are cool. That mask toatom created looks sweet.

This is awesome! I love the use of the 3D printed masks but what is the main mask? Like its power? Any way this is a great MOC! 8/10 for no context :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Thanks for all the feedback everyone! I just included a link to a brief description I wrote up

Yea I’m thinking of going back to his smaller arms from his first version

Its a mask I commissioned ToaTom to render, its called the Kanohi Mengu

Edited for Triple Post - Slime
I’d give this topic a read, otherwise, I might have to replace your self-moc with a hologram :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m sorry, but that is the color scheme for a Toa of Light, not a Toa of Iron. Light has Gold and white as it’s color scheme. I honestly thought this was a Toa of Light at first.

But hey, I like how you 3D printed a mask. It looks good. And the weapon and shield are pretty cool. The build? It’s alright… Ummmm…I don’t know what else to say given that it is a slightly modified metru build…

Didn’t Toa of Iron wear metallic colored armor such as gold Or Steel grey? The only difference here is that orange isn’t the secondary color. I guess he could be like Iruini where his metallic armor is more of a status thing.

Thanks tho!'I wanted to keep him simple so that he could fit in with my other Toa sets.

Yes, Toa of Iron are metallic colored and gold can be one of those colors, but like I said: It’s the combination of white and gold. Those are Toa of Light colors.

“in the Matoran Universe, Light is represented by the Matoran prefix Av- as well as the colors white and gold.”

(Even though Toa of Light can be nay color, that’s just the default)

Makes sense! I’ll change his element then, I just want him to be crafter so maybe he can use light as a source of energy.

I still think the MOC looks like a Toa of Light.

It’s your MOC, so do whatever you see fit.

Actually, I think only Matoran have that ability (which is dumb).

Wow! Well after reading the added stuff that is an awesome mask! Also a sweet idea for covering up have the masks be translucent

Nice MOC. I really like the backstory.

Basic, but pretty decent looking!

With a name like that, he better watch out for the Illumakuta
