As for Booster Gold and Blue Beetle themselves, it may be a challenge for DC to fit them into the larger DC Extended Universe. But their antics may be just what’s needed to temper the more serious tone of the other films. In any event, only time will tell whether the heroic duo will shed a little light on the DCEU or not.

Oh my god the DC cinematic universe…I feel sorry for it. They’re basically like “THE COOL KIDS ARE DOING IT LETS DO IT AS WELL!”. It all just seems way too rushed and frankly, lazy. This is coming from someone who actually liked “Man Of Steel” as well 
Anyway, we’ll see how they turn out, but if BvS is bad then I don’t think there’s much hope.
DC has a multiverse. The DCAU can be considered one of those. The Flash/Arrow/Contantine, Supergirl, Gotham, and the movies are different universes.

The scene of Lex talking to both Bruce and Clark was PAINFUL. It also broke the trailer’s tone completely.
