“You lie, you will fall to this, your hubris.” Blaze says. He uses a set of conveniently acquired binoculars to examine the Base and look for places to sneak in and where the Commander could potentially be.
Eric and Armin continue to move, shooting any Wolfen who they happened to cross, then taking weapons and ammo from the corpse. They continue to make their way towards the center.
The Top of a Bunker can be seen at the very back of the base.
OOC: that was Keya.
IC: they saw the village, and Hitora pointed out the sewer opening. “That’s where Eric and Armin went in.”
“That bunker could be the command center but how do we get in?” He asks Echo. (@BrokenAxels) He gives him the binoculars and points to the bunker.
Eric and Armin make their way towards it.
They are slowed down by a Wolfen patrol.
“I’d assume the sewer system Eric and Armin went through would work. At least to get close.” Hitora said.
“I have a bad feeling about the sewers, like that is guarded as well.” Blaze says.
“Maybe tunnel our way?” Suggests Scorpio
“Too much of a hassle. We don’t have the tools for that anyway.” Blaze says.
Eric and Armin fire at them, killing most of them in the surprise attack. They then take cover, and exchange shots with the patrol.
“It’s either Sewers or frontal assault,” Alberto replied.
The Wolfen continued to shoot back from behind cover.
“Ehem…” Scorpio raises his hand things “What else did you think these were for?”
“Well, it’s still our best bet.” Tangi said.
Keya begrudgingly nodded in agreement.
“Do you know the full layout of the sewers and security?” Blaze asks, reconsidering the tunneling idea.
“Well encough, we really just have to worry about the Plumber.”
“Oh, what’s his thing outside the obvious?” Blaze asks.
“How fast can you dig?” He inquires.
“One to all of us?” Hitora said. “We’ll be fine.”
