Transformers: Tournament of Terror. RP Topic

While that could have gone better, it also could have gone a whole lot worse. Railgun is mostly just glad that Iota just didn’t send everything into lock down or some other drastic action. At least, not yet anyways. And his shots did do something, that felt good, just need to keep in mind the strength of that material in the future.

Though with Iota and the advisor gone, he saw a new prime opportunity for them to take advantage. Briefly scanning the room again to check for cameras, the three Minicons work on opening the vent. Just enough for them to easily slip in and out, preferably without the alteration to be noticeable without decent inspection. Tie-Grabber attaches his hook inside the vent and rappels to the floor. Railgun and Machbreaker climb down his cable to the floor of the room.

Tie-Grabber remains by the wall still connected to provide a quick escape. They have no idea how long they might have, so they work quickly. Machbreaker and Railgun head for a desk or computer or whatever was in the room that may contain information. Or if it’s there, even controls to the facility itself.

She nodded, “Quite shy little fellows. Do you still have them where you come from?”

Oddball and Backbreaker leave the medical bay.

“Thanks for helping out,” Backbreaker says to the little bot walking beside him. Oddball beeps out a short response, the meaning of which Backbreaker could only guess.

“Uh… sure, no problem,” the gladiator replies, shrugging his shoulders. “Hey, you want in on this, too, little guy? This breakout of ours, I mean.”

Oddball nods his head enthusiastically.

Vip-vip!” he chrips.

“That’s a yes, right?” Backbreaker assumes. Oddball confirms the assumption by giving the gladiator a thumbs-up. The two then proceed to loiter about the commons.

The only major piece in the room would be his desk. There was a button and microphone he could use to speak over the colosseum’s intercom system, as well as a camera that could display his face across the many monitors throughout the commons and the arena.

One other to note would be the large monitor mounted on the back wall, where he could watch the fights in the arena.

The office as a whole was lavishly decorated. Silk and gold was hung from the walls in all manner of delicate and elaborate shapes. And there was a large window behind the main chair, which gave a perfect view to the vast and shimmering city outside this cold and enclosed colosseum.

“Yeah. There are still minicons back on Cybertron. Though they aren’t really ‘used’ the same way as they were back then.”

“No.”
Nebula replied harshly.

“Come on. What do we have to lose? At least talk to her. This could be really benefit us. At least talk to her.”
Ramjet urged.

Nebula groaned and pinched her the bridge of her nose.
“Alright. Fine. We’ll give it some time, and the three of us will go down to the commons and talk to her.”

“Believe me. You won’t regret this.”
Ramjet said happily.

“I better not.”
Nubla replied.

Oddball and Backbreaker could see Maximus and Axis, who were finally back up. The two sitting at a table. Laughing and talking together. The two being the closest they’ve been since arriving here.

Oddball nudges Backbreaker and points the happy couple out to the gladiator.

Wee-do-za-bleep!” he says proudly.

“Yeah, they sure look happy,” Backbreaker observes. Oddball rakes his fingers down his face, sighing to himself.

Axis notices the pair and waves them down.
“Hey, how about you come sit and talk for a bit?”
She asked eagerly.

Backbreaker shrugs and walks over. Oddball races past him, disintegrating into his cloud form and re-assembling himself beside Maximus.

Whee-whoo!” he greets the predacon, waving enthusiastically.

“Hey little guy. Good to see you.”
Maximus said with a smile.

“So how have you guys been?”
Axis asked the pair.

“Been good,” Backbreaker replies. “You?”

“Well we’re uh,”
Axis started. The two looked at each other and chuckled a little.

“We’re doing pretty well.”
She said.

Oddball gives Axis a thumbs-up.

You’re welcome,” he quips, with Axis being able to understand him via her translator.

Axis laughed a little and smiled.
“Thank you.”
She said. It was then an idea popped into her mind.

“Oh! Backbreaker. You should tell Maximus about our breakout plan.”

Maximus perked up a bit. A breakout plan? He was definitely interested.

If the desk has any drawers they go through it to see what’s in them. They also check the bottom of the desk.

Though if they find nothing, Railgun says to Machbreaker, “Burn it all.”

Machbreaker nods and runs around the room with his rockets on, setting the silk, desk, and whatever else that can catch on fire. Railgun blasts the camera in its lenses to disable it and then fires several blasts into the large monitor to destroy it as well. With damage done and a fire starting, they climb up the cable and get back into the vent. Tie-Grabber pulls himself up and they slightly repair the damage to the vent.

“Interesting,” she said as got up, “So how did you choose your alt mode?”

There was nothing significant to find.

As the three made their escape, they could hear hurried footsteps beneath them. A door being slammed open, and a furious games master shouting.

“GUAAAAAARDS!!!”
He screamed. Sounding more irate than any of the prisoners could ever remember.

“Exploration mission.”
She replied simply.
“Ancient earth. Nothing too special.”

They repair what little they can without causing much noise, mostly just bending some metal, grab the scanner, and start heading back. Or at the very least, back far enough to where they wouldn’t be noticed but could still hear any conversations that may happen.

The trio make a perfect getaway. Completely undetected. However any rational conversation was completely drowned out by the sounds of roaring fire and Iota’s furious shouting.

With the guards now supposedly going elsewhere, they make their ways to the outer sections of the facility to observe the defenses. Of course, chances are they now won’t get a count of guards, but could get a view of anything else. And maybe if they’re lucky, the scanner can also give some hints as to what those defenses can do. If they can’t be immediately recognized.

Their view of the outside would be limited. They would be able to make out a line of heavy defensive turrets on fortified towers, but nothing else.

Well, that get what info they can, mentally noting their locations and number, and head back to the medical ward.
