Transformers: Twilight of the Golden Age Part II

Hammer nods.“I’ll leave you be then, I wish you a fast recovery and rest.”

Glaive gives a shaky thumbs-up as she begins to fall into stasis lock. An alarm from her hospital bed alerts a nearby nurse to her condition, and the bot swiftly makes his way over to the captain.

Hammer steps aside and leaves the nurse to condition Glaive.

Hammer returns back to Hydro.

“So?” Hydro asked.

“She is very injured.” Hammer says.

“Well casualties of war…it happens all the time.” Hydro replies.

“I know but still…when I get my hands on Nemesis…I’ll make him pay for everything he has ever done.” Hammer said.

The Scimitar docks with the CCS Stormbringer, the flagship of the navy of the Cybertronian Commonwealth, and named after the mass-hammer wielded by the Autobot city commander Ultra Magnus in the Great War. The ship was massive- nearly half the size of the gargantuan Fleetcarriers of old, and boasted a formidable arsenal.

OOC: it kinda looks like the Miranda II from Armada:

IC: The Stormbringer was currently undergoing various internal and external repairs, and those of our heroes who had elected to travel to Cybertron were free to wander the ship at their leisure.

“Alright looks like we arrived.” Hydro Rex pointed out.

“By the looks of things yeah.” Hammer confirms.

“Well lets actually do something, lets explore the ship, see what we could find.” Hydro said.

“Sure.” Hammer said as he and Hydro Rex were then exploring the ship.

The Stormbringer’s corridors were swamped with crewmen that ran to and fro on various assignments. Some halls were lit only by crimson emergency lighting as engineers attempted to get the regular light fixtures back in order.

IC: The more worse-off of the Scimitar’s wounded, such as Glaive and Chaplain, were transferred to one of the Stormbringer’s more advanced medical facilities.

Daybreak makes her way to the flagship’s bridge, to confer with the captain.

IC: The Stormbringer boasted not one, but two simulation rooms for training, several hangar bays- including a larger one capable of housing two more standard-size battleships, and, of course, many common areas and recreational facilities such as a small Cube arena and a few mess halls. The main cargo hold, engineering bay, and briefing room were also available for exploration.

Our heroes could also assist in hastening the Stormbringer 's repairs, if they were so inclined. At each airlock was a module that could project a protective barrier of Energon around a bot, allowing them to safely traverse the ship’s exterior for extended periods of time.

Piston walked to the bridge to assist Daybreak, while Myriad hung out in one of the mess halls.

“Well the ship doesn’t look so shabby if I say so myself, though it’s in repairs man they fought a hella of a fight.” said Hydro.

“Indeed.” Hammer replied. “Come on lets see if we could do anything to help.” Hammer said.

Hydro nods and begins following Hammer’s lead towards finding someone or do something to help.

Daybreak walks onto the bridge, where the Stormbringer’s captain and a few strategists could be seen around a hologram of Cybertron, her moons, and Unicron’s sparkchamber.

“Hey, this is Ship Systems Specialist Shockdrive,” the voice of an engineer announces over the PA, “yeah, we need some help with the fifth sublight engine. The fuel quills are unstable, and we need to get them replaced ASAP.”

“We might be able to help you with that.” Hammer said over to the PA to the engineer.

“Who is this?” Shockdrive asks.

“Nevermind,” he quickly withdraws the question, “if you can help out, hurry on down.”

Aboard the Excalibur, Beta Maxx and Liege Maximo stand on the bridge, watching as the ship maintains its’ course for Trecedim.

“Right.” Hammer said.

“Wait just a sec man, hey you over there could you show us the way?” Hydro asked.

A passing Hecatian stops and turns.

“Uh, sure,” she responds. “Where ya headed?”

“Who are you?-” Hydro said but Hammer interfered.

“There is a problem with the fifth sublight engine, the fuel quills are unstable and they needed to be replaced ASAP.” Hammer explained.

“Yeah right, what Hammer here said.” Hydro said with grinding teeth as he looking at him, wondering why didn’t he let him explain.

Piston examines the holo-map, noting the position of Cybertron, the moons, and the sparkchamber.

ooc: where is the sparkchamber specifically?

“Right, okay,” responds the Hecatian. “Sublights are in engineering. Just follow me.”

She transforms into a hovercar and speeds down the corridor.

Unicron’s sparkchamber was currently hanging above the Well of All Sparks, surrounded by undead Titans assuming battleship alt-modes. Between them flew swarms of smaller Terrorcons.

The captain of the Stormbringer, Kukri, acknowledges Piston and Daybreak’s entrance with a respectful nod. Near him stood two tacticians and the twin Micromasters Drill and Bit, the leaders of Gigantion.

“Ma’am,” Kukri greets Daybreak.

“Captain,” responds the former leader of Cybertron in kind.

“I’ve been informed of your… activities, of the past month, ma’am. I take it your return bodes well for us?”

Daybreak nods. “It does captain.”

She gestures to Piston. “This is Piston, a soldier from the colony of Muto. He and several others have retrieved the weapons of the Thirteen to defeat the Heralds of Unicron.”

Hammer and Hydro Rex started running following her.

Piston bowed and straightened back up. “General.” He corrected politely. “It is a pleasure and an honor to work with you.” He addressed Kukri. Piston turned to the holo-map, examining it closely. “Now, then, as for the plan of attack… I was thinking that coming from behind the moons, and using them as cover would be effective. We could ‘hop’ from one moon to the next, until we get close enough for a full-on attack.”

“Likewise, general,” responds the captain.

The two tacticians nod in agreement.

“Right,” affirms one, typing notes into a datapad. “That could save us some trouble…”

On the sparkchamber of the Chaos Bringer was a wide pit that bored deep into the organ. The unique radiation given off by Dark Energon was particularly concentrated in an around this pit, and likewise for the defenses that had been established to defend it.
