The Sea Of Liquid Sand was said to be encroaching upon the Bara Magna desert, and that it would eventually claim the entire thing. Has this changed with the advent of the reformation, given that much of the desolate desert became lush with vegetation? And if not, is there a way that either the Great Beings or denizens of the Matoran Universe could combat or reverse its effects? Is the Sea of liquid Sand still even in existence?

My assumption is that Mata Nui’s actions would have had some effect on this.
