What sort of Bionicle names are capitalized?

Hi Greg,

Currently BS01 Aggressively Capitalizes Every Bionicle Term regardless of how it is written in official media. However glancing through some books, there seem to be plenty of lowercase Bionicle terms. (I made a list here for those interested, but it’s not complete.) It looks like words such as metru, protodermis, and kraata are pretty much always lowercase if they don’t have a prefix (for example, Ta-Metru is capitalized). However words like Rahi are capitalized. How did the story team pick which names to capitalize, and how did you keep track of them all? (Is there by any chance an official list?)

No, there’s no official list extant (even if there had been, it would be long gone, since Gen 1 ended so long ago now). I don’t recall us ever discussing whether something would be capitalized or not, it probably came down to what the story bible author did with the terms.
