Grace groaned as she stood up.
“S-sorry.” She examined her arm.
“Hm.” She grimaced.
The gas was indeed sucked into the sewer.

“You should be more careful.” he said. “So this was your first day, testing your spider powers?”
“Ah… what?” Grace frowned. “How do you know… no, it’s not my first day-far from it.”
“What the hell are you doing here?! I thought you were dead!” Mark said to Elias.
The gas would be redirected into the liquid waste at the bottom, and 「Danger Line」would slam the sewer cap back into place and give it a good pounding to make sure it firmly stayed in place. “And that’s that.” She stated, making her way back over to where Kim was.
“I know because…I have the same powers, I think,” he said, shrugging. “And well, it did look like it was your first day, that’s what happened to me, but I think even worse, I dunno anymore.”
“Why isn’t he picking up?” he said as he tried again to call Mark via the earpiece he gave him (@Mctoran)
“I… I was. Somehow, I survived. I don’t… Mark, I’ve done some bad things. The shadows healed me, but corrupted me.” Elias looked at Mark. “I need your help, and I need Sadie’s help.”
@Mctoran
Grace frowned. “Wait- I know who you are. You’re that Spider-Man guy.”
@MichaelTheLightBringer
Before Mark could say anything else, his phone rang. He picked it up. “Hello?”
@MichaelTheLightBringer
Malfector grabbed a shopping cart, and pushed it in front of himself. He threw in an odd assortment of microwaves, blenders, toasters, power tools, laser printers, and other odd items. Having gathered what he needed, he headed towards the exit.
“Hey, you have to pay for that!” The man behind the register shouted.
“Yup.” he confirms. “You friendly neighborhood Spider-man!”
“Mark, it’s me, Bruce, you remember right?” he asked. “Listen in the news it is said that Saide has been going on a killing spree and that she has killed people…can you explain to me why?”
Grace nodded.
“Do you think you can help me?” She blurted out.
Carlie would meet up with Kim soon enough, and they’d continue their walk after a quick apology from Carlie. “Crime’s everywhere, ya know. Even out here in broad daylight. Gosh it’s bad.”
Kim nodded. “Yeah. You think they’d at least try and be discreet about it.”
Mark was confused. “no, that’s impossible. I’ve been with Sadie this entire time. I would’ve known…”
“Help you?” he asked surprised. “Well…I…ugh…”
“No, definitely not.” Impulse told Connor.
“Listen, I am not mentoring material,” Spider-Man told her.
“Then it’s either someone else or someone has been lying on the news, because that’s what it’s said on the newspapers,” Bruce explained. “Well, when I wanted you and everyone on the team…I expected Sadie would have stopped her…savagery over the killing.”
“My apologies,” growled the Time Traveler. He slowly lumbered towards the cashier, “I believe this should be sufficient payment,” He replied, dropping a bar of gold onto the counter.
“Is this a joke?” The cashier asked.
Malfector muttered “I forget that the currency has been decoupled from gold. Whatever, just keep the change,” In response. He then proceeded to lumber back to his cart, and exited the store.
Grace replied, “Please? I don’t have anybody else to teach me! You’re the only one!”
“No I can’t be the only one, I mean…” he said. “Listen you are better off without me teaching you.”
Ceasar woke up in a hospital bed. “Ugh, how long have I been asleep?” He looks at the clock beside his bed and realizes it’s been three months since that robot terrorized the city. “Oh sh-”
Skipping to a few hours later, Ceasar is flying around aimlessly. (Someone do something obvious so I can find you).
“No, no! Please! You don’t understand!”
A man in a bulky space suit was pushing a shopping cart filled with household appliances.
