“I did, and I still have no regrets.” Christine said. She slowly looked up. “Well, except for one regret: you ended up being a massive failure. All of that money and resources, gone down the drain…you were an even worse failure than opetation: Plague Doctor. At least he managed to cause a zombie outbreak.” She quietly laughed to herself.
“But still, you were an important part of my experiment. And I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for your participation, failure or not…”
Black Hood snapped a little. “Why you!!” he said taking the table and throwing it off to the side.
“You really are an hypocrite, you say you fight for the betterment of the people yet you stab them in the back I at least try to warn them but that is unlikely because they are too stupid to release it!” he shouted.
“If there is only one reason as to why I am hunting Mark well… let’s say it got personal.” his voice lowers done.
“But still what keeps me from killing him?” Black Hood asked.

Richard then bashed his cane into Murzahk’s face again.

Christine slightly flinched at Black Hood throwing the Table, but she hid it well. “Mark is a valuable asset for my next super soldier experiment, one that will produce a far more superior being than you ever will be. I need him alive because of his DNA.”
Black Hood nods and nods. “I don’t give a dang about the DNA, superior you say. Look at what I have done. I have the most technological suit on the planet and I have taken down 3 Cities turned them into chaos.
Christine I told you not to play with the devil! What’s all of this in for me? I can and will destroy this City as well till I get my revenge I deserve, I will kill Mark and then him and everything he loves.” he said.
“Well, You get paid, for one, and, I may be able to help you with Bruce.”
Christine rasped with laughter. “You really haven’t changed in all these years, have you? I still remember that fateful day, when you were reborn…” she said, reminiscing.
When he heard the name Bruce, Black Hood immediately moved his hand and went at her neck to end her disgusting laughter.
“He is mine! And mine alone!!!” he shouted.
However those last words about the day when he was reborn gave him flashbacks, they were clear as the day and hateful as the night, they hurt him a bit so much so it caused for him to release her neck and shouted as he remembered. “NOOOOO!”
He remembered volunteering for the Super Soldier experiment and was accepted, leading him to the medical bay or the experimental area.
In the center of the room was a chair with restraints attached to it. The chair appeared to be connected to some sort of machine. A youthful, blond-haired woman in a white lab coat turned to face the man. “Ah, hello there. You must be the volunteer for this experiment. I’m so glad you have enlisted. You are helping to make history.” She then extended her hand. “Christine Warren.”
He smiles and shakes her hand. “Pleasure to server Ma’am. I am doing what i think it’s right.”
Black Hood reflected on that memory. “What a fool I was and to thinking I was so nice to you, to a…well you know.” he said as he smiled with grin on his face.
(Flashback)
Christine led the man to the chair, buckling his hands and feet to the chair. “This is just to insure that you don’t squirm too much.” She explained.
A scientist then began to activate the machine, and stepped away from it. “Everyone get back!” He told the other scientists. The machine then turned on. “Now, this may hurt a bit…” The scientist warned.
He started to breath faster and faster but he manage to keep his cool.
Black Hood smiles. “You know what were my exact thoughts?” he asked. “I was thinking that, I am doing this for the people, for the greater good…for our country…” he chuckles and shakes his head.
“What a fool I was then however the real fun after that started to happen.” he smiled.
(Flashback)
The scientist had lied. In fact, it hurt a lot. Multiples Stringes were injected all along the man’s arms and legs, pumping its fluids into his veins. Tiny devices then zapped the man’s neck with bolts of electricity to stimulate the serum in his body and speed up the transformation process.
A scientist monitoring the man’s vitals on a screen became nervous. “Ma’am, we need to shut it down! The strain is too much for his body to take! He could die-” Christine shoved the man aside with a force projection from her diamond ring. “I dont care! We’re already too far along to turn back!” She snapped.
The man’s veins threatened to burst out of his body from the adrenaline rush. However, his vitals then stabilized, and the machine shut down. It had ended as soon as it started. As the needles withdrew from the man’s body, his restraints were unfastened. “How do you feel?” Christine asked him.
“Good…” the scientist said. The man’s muscles seemed to have grown from the serum. “Think fast!” The scientist suddenly said, hurling a metal rod towards the man’s face.
It was a test of reflexes.
