Does anyone know the creator of this file? Me and a etsyseller are trying to print it out and he says the file isn’t sufficient for 3D printing. but hope thankfully the mask I’ll be using will be covering it up.
Oh good gracious I hate that file. I am also an Etsy seller and I’ve been trying to get that stupid thing to work. I have an alternative thought, Specter L’s visor is on Thingiverse and that one has the general shape down.
I’m still working on editing that file so it can be printed. The whole middle of the visor is too thin, so there’s not enough to print, that’s the issue. Even Sid’s visor has the same problem. Problem is I just have too many paid orders to work on to fix that visor at the moment without having some way to monetarily justify it.

I see. Buryu’sforge is having the same problem. I mainly need this one for the blades at the end for red star adapted Toro. I think the main part More than likely be creating a thin like reinforced structure on the inside of the mask where it won’t affect the mata head.

Can you share me your Etsy account? Also The one you’re mentioning buryu’sforge say’s The thin blades on the visor would probably break off easily and probably would need to be thickened a little bit more.

Oh yea those blades are fragile, but it does work, you just can’t bend the silly fins at all. Although I bet if I printed it in ABS like resin it would be ok. Although the customer I have is ordering them in the normal and is fully aware how fragile they are.

- What exactly made it not ready for 3D printing?
- How soon do you need it? Earliest I can start is in 2 weekends. I’ll do it pro-bono because it’s in my interest to have it as well.
- Do you have photos of the original piece? Preferably orthagonal, because perspective distortion sucks.

I have the file. Adaptive Visor by Potato_Ice_Cream - Thingiverse There’s a glitch in the file so the inner part of the visor that you can see in the picture. It breaks easily, otherwise the part itself still works. Buryu’sforge is the one making it so I would have to ask him.

Yea, the file itself just has thin walls, it needs to be strengthened and have tolerances dialed in for printing.

When I get the chance I’ll buy it. I also am Dead broke because of remodeling. But buryu’sforge still wants to print it. Also he has some translucent resin colors that fit accurate Lego ones very well.
